Senior Credit Analytics Engineer

Job Summary
Design and maintain analytics-ready datasets supporting underwriting, pricing, originations, collections, and portfolio analytics. Develop reusable SQL objects, dimensional models, and curated datasets that enable consistent analysis and decision-making. Build scalable data transformation workflows using SQL, Python, dbt, Git, and Snowflake to simplify and integrate data from lending and operational systems. Partner with analysts and stakeholders to convert recurring needs into standardized business logic, establishing reporting best practices with Power BI or Sigma. Implement automated testing and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and reliability. Requires 5 years of experience, advanced SQL and Python proficiency, and Snowflake knowledge. Based in an office environment with 90% computer usage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- 5 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, business intelligence, or advanced analytics
- Advanced SQL proficiency
- Experience with Python
- Experience with dbt
- Experience with Git
- Experience developing, validating, reconciling, and troubleshooting complex analytical datasets across multiple systems
- Experience designing analytics-ready datasets
