Job Summary
The Senior Credit Analyst is responsible for acting as the main contact between the bank and the underwriting system, providing advisory support on credit analysis for commercial and agricultural underwriting, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. This role involves operational support to branches, developing risk management policies, and maintaining effective community relations. The position requires significant supervisory responsibilities including staff evaluation and development. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree, five to ten years of relevant experience, and strong communication and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) required
- Five to ten years of related experience and/or training required
- Above average verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information to managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

- Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to outlying branch areas
