Senior Credit Analyst

Job Summary
Senior Credit Analyst responsible for sound commercial loan and mortgage underwriting to manage risk in the Bank’s loan portfolio, providing timely credit analysis for commercial (C&I) and CRE lending, coordinating with Credit Analysts and other departments, and leading training to improve credit skills. Responsibilities include spreading statements and performing comparative financial analyses, utilizing Loan Vantage software to track loan applications, reviewing borrower information, preparing and distributing reports, and offering insight on loan transactions to lenders, with emphasis on compliance with loan policy and regulatory requirements and high-quality service to internal and external customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Five or more years of experience in a Commercial Credit/Lending department
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge in underwriting and credit analysis with knowledge in financial statements and tax return analysis
- Knowledge of lending activities including commercial, real estate and loan processing
