Senior Creative Engineer (Production - Design Systems - IA)

Job Summary
Translate creative concepts and key art into scalable design solutions for digital campaigns and marketing initiatives. Build, maintain, and evolve Design Systems that support efficient and consistent creative production by creating reusable Figma components, libraries, templates, and production frameworks. Utilize advanced Figma functionality including Variables, Auto Layout, and component architecture to ensure pixel-perfect execution across high-volume projects. Collaborate with Creative, Account, and Production teams to deliver assets aligned with brand guidelines while exploring AI-powered tools to enhance workflows. Mentor junior engineers and contribute ideas that improve production efficiencies. Adapt quickly to shifting priorities across a wide variety of projects.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience as a Production Designer, Creative Engineer, Design Systems Designer, or similar role within an agency, creative studio, or in-house creative team
- Extensive experience working in high-volume, fast-paced creative production environments
- Advanced proficiency in Figma
- Strong hands-on experience with Design Systems
- Strong hands-on experience with Component Libraries
- Strong hands-on experience with Variables
- Strong hands-on experience with Auto Layout
- Strong hands-on experience with Component architecture and scalability
- Experience creating, maintaining, and scaling reusable design frameworks
- Understanding of how design systems support efficient creative production and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience utilizing AI tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, or similar technologies within creative workflows
- Strong visual design skills and excellent aesthetic judgment
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Basic motion design experience using Adobe After Effects
- Experience producing digital marketing assets, banners, email creatives, and campaign adaptations
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting junior designers
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
- We expect our team to work from an office a minimum of 3 days a week
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Atomic Design principles
- Familiarity with Design Tokens
- UI Design experience
- Experience working within enterprise-scale Design Systems
- Experience building and editing Keynote and PowerPoint presentations
- General understanding of HTML5
- Experience evaluating, implementing, or optimizing AI-powered creative workflows
