Job Summary
Senior Counsel role leading insurance-defense litigation with autonomy to manage high-exposure matters. Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs and trials while mentoring junior attorneys and directing less-experienced colleagues. Develop compelling case themes, maintain routine client communications, cultivate client relationships, and contribute to leadership and development within the firm. Flexible work model includes remote, hybrid, or onsite options. Requires JD from an ABA-approved school and a licensed practitioner in the applicable state; 8+ years of litigation experience and proficiency with discovery, trial preparation, and MS Office. Compensation ranges from $135,000 to $190,000 annually, with bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- JD from an ABA approved school
- Must be licensed in your state (Arizona)
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience (litigation support, deposition and trial preparation)
- Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities (discovery and trial)
- Experience handling insurance defense matters preferred
- Experience with time management systems
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to think and act independently with minimal supervision
- Outstanding listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
