Job Summary
Develop compelling case themes that outperform plaintiff strategies and refuse mediocrity in all legal matters. Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials while managing full case responsibilities including discovery. Lead less experienced attorneys and cultivate relationships with existing and future clients through routine communications. This senior role requires an active New Mexico bar license, a JD from an ABA-approved school, and 8+ years of litigation experience. The position offers a base salary of $140,000–$170,000 with a billable bonus structure, comprehensive benefits including a 401(k) match, and flexible remote or hybrid work options.
Required Qualifications
- Active bar license in the State of New Mexico
- JD from an ABA approved school
- Must be licensed in your state
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience
- Experience with litigation support
- Experience with deposition
- Experience with trial preparation
- Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities
- Experience handling all facets of discovery
- Experience handling trial
- Experience handling insurance defense matters preferred
- Experience with time management systems
- Proficiency in MS Suite
- Proficiency in Word
- Proficiency in PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Outlook
- Ability to think and act independently
- Ability to act with minimal supervision
