Job Summary
Senior Counsel, Transactional role supporting the Firm’s day-to-day transactional needs. Negotiates and reviews client engagement letters, MSAs, NDAs, procurement, marketing/advertising and other commercial/client-facing agreements; counsels internal clients to minimize legal risk; contributes to Office of the General Counsel processes and templates; supports real estate/leasing, financing, general corporate matters, and strategic transactions such as M&A; develops additional areas of law as requested; communicates progress with internal/external parties; maintains confidentiality and ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment; requires JD and Bar admission with 5+ years of experience, including law-firm experience; National/MD/NYC ranges of $185k-$250k; McLean, VA office location.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate (JD)
- Member of a Bar in Good Standing
- Five (5) or more years of broad commercial and corporate legal experience
- Three (3) or more years’ experience with a law firm, Am Law 100 firm preferred
