Lead case strategy for a diverse portfolio of complex federal and state tax matters, architecting the approach from initial audit through final resolution. Draft and file petitions for the Georgia Tax Tribunal, Federal Tax Court, and Federal District Court; represent clients in these proceedings and state revenue hearings. Conduct deep-dive reviews of client financial records to build evidentiary foundations, lead high-level conferences with IRS and state authorities, and serve as the firm's technical anchor by reviewing major protests and filings. Direct strategy for sensitive matters including offshore compliance, voluntary disclosures, and complex collections. Act as the primary point of contact for high-net-worth clients, translating complex procedures into actionable advice. This role offers a competitive 1,650-hour annual billing requirement, performance-based bonuses, and a clear pathway to partner-level responsibility within a rapidly expanding firm.
