Job Summary
Senior Counsel, Regulatory Compliance role within Emerson's Legal Department focusing on product cybersecurity and regulatory requirements. Responsible for developing and implementing processes, policies, and training; monitoring global laws and standards (e.g., ISO, NIST); counseling Product Management and Engineering on cybersecurity risks across the product lifecycle; managing legal aspects of product cybersecurity escalations; coordinating data protection inquiries; collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure policy compliance and effective risk management; communicating complex information clearly to diverse audiences; supporting continuous improvement and strategic initiatives with integrity and professional judgment.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Law Degree from an accredited law school
- 4-7 years of relevant work experience in a commercial and international field (in-house or private practice, preferably in cybersecurity related field or compliance focus)
- Comfortable working with senior management
- Intermediate MS Office skill
- Excellent oral and written English language skills
- Openness to travel
