Job Summary
Lead legal support for Clarivate's corporate transactions, including the review and negotiation of deal documents, assistance in structuring deals, and coordination of due diligence. Review and negotiate complex commercial agreements, as time permits, while leading a variety of general corporate projects. Identify ongoing personal training and developmental needs as part of continuous career and professional development. Some travel on an as needed basis. This role reports to the Deputy General Counsel within a globally connected team specializing in M&A, intellectual property, and technology transactions.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law and in good standing with the applicable bar association
- 5+ years' experience as an attorney working primarily on complex, multinational mergers and acquisitions
- At least 3 years at a large North American law firm as a corporate/M&A associate
- Admitted in good standing to the bar of working location
- Full-time, permanent position
- Working primarily during core business hours
- Hybrid role with an expectation of working in the office up to three days per week

- Excellent negotiation, organizational and deal management skills
- Enthusiasm for process improvement and client satisfaction
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English
- Other language skills
- Demonstrated ability to interact with and influence senior executive leaders
