Job Summary
Senior Counsel will own a high volume of commercial agreements (partnerships, vendor, and customer contracts), counsel product teams on legal/regulatory questions for new products/features, guide privacy and data protection with scalable compliance, structure and close strategic deals, influence decisions with stakeholders across product/ops/leadership, and manage multi-dimensional legal projects independently. Based in Los Angeles office, with base salary $195k-$229k and benefits package; on-site five days a week.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 7+ years of legal experience
- deep commercial contracts experience
- exposure to product counseling and/or privacy and data protection
- comfortable building practical compliance
- sharp judgment and business-first mindset
- ability to translate complex legal issues into clear guidance for non-lawyers
- thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
