Job Summary
Senior Counsel with Lemon Law defense experience in California, handling cases from strategy through discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. Must be California-licensed with a JD from an ABA-approved school. Strong background in Lemon Law, automotive warranty, or related complex civil litigation, including matters involving the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act. Experience representing manufacturers or automotive clients is valued; CRLA or housing litigation experience encouraged. Collaborative team player adept at leading and mentoring less-experienced attorneys, with substantial courtroom and client-facing responsibilities. Flexible work options include remote, hybrid, or in-office arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- JD from an ABA approved school
- Licensed in the State of California
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience (including support, deposition, trial preparation)
- 5+ years of Lemon Law defense matters
- 2+ years of CRLA, tenant advocacy, or housing litigation experience
- 2+ years of General Liability defense experience
- Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities (discovery through trial)
- Experience with time management systems
- MS Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Independent work capability with minimal supervision
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
