Job Summary
The Senior Counsel, Corporate will report to the Chief Legal Officer and provide legal counsel for securities law, governance, mergers & acquisitions, and strategic transactions. The role demands excellent negotiating and project management skills to navigate complex transactions under tight deadlines. Key responsibilities include managing corporate secretarial matters, ensuring compliance with SEC regulations, overseeing financing transactions, and handling corporate governance initiatives. Candidates must possess strong legal analytical skills and experience in corporate law, particularly in the healthcare sector.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to a US state bar in good standing
- Minimum of 7 years of legal experience
- 3+ years of in-house counsel experience in healthcare
- Experience with M&A and equity compensation
