Job Summary
Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including SaaS agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts, and corporate policies. Manage general liability litigation, disputes, bankruptcies, and lien matters while coordinating with outside counsel and internal stakeholders. Provide legal guidance to technology, marketing, leasing, and field teams regarding compliance, cyber security, and PII laws. Conduct legal research to interpret obligations and respond to regulatory inquiries. Assist with intellectual property protection and mentor administrative staff. Review team-prepared documents for quality and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state
- 9+ years of legal experience in-house or similar environment
- Experience in contracts, leasing, and/or litigation
- Strong legal knowledge across contracts, technology, marketing, litigation, and employment law
- Excellent analytical, research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Leadership skills with ability to mentor and guide team members
- Upholds confidentiality, ethics, and company core values
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
