Job Summary
Serve as the primary legal partner to Robotics leadership and cross-functional teams, providing practical, business-oriented advice across hardware development, manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement. Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements including supplier, manufacturing, licensing, and strategic partnership contracts. Advise on legal issues throughout the hardware development lifecycle, identify risks in commercial transactions, and develop scalable legal processes and templates. Monitor regulatory developments affecting global operations and translate complex legal concepts into actionable guidance for technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with Employment, Privacy, IP, and Regulatory teams to support the commercialization of next-generation robotics systems. This role requires in-person presence four days a week in San Francisco, CA.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience across a leading law firm and/or in-house legal department supporting technology companies
- significant experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements, particularly involving hardware supply, manufacturing, procurement, development, licensing, and strategic partnerships
- Have a JD and license or qualification to practice in California
