Job Summary
Senior Cost Value Engineer for Intelligence Systems drives the strategic supply network development and cost management of Anduril’s product hardware across lifecycles, partnering with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to own the end-to-end supply chain for the Intelligence & Space business line. Responsibilities include engineering BOM cost analysis, supplier selection and onboarding, on-time delivery, should-cost/clean-sheet models, joint design development, simulation of mechanical/electronics designs, manufacturing BOM consolidation, ramp planning for internal production and suppliers, total cost of ownership management, value-stream mapping to optimize lead times and flexibility, risk assessment and component qualification, and handling cost issues (tariffs/import costs). Requires Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 6+ years in sourcing or related fields, domain expertise in value/procurement engineering, active U.S. Secret or TS clearance, 10–40% travel, and relocation to Reston, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field
- 6+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices
- Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component & product level
- Active U.S. Secret or TS clearance and ability to maintain clearance
- Ability to travel 10% - 40% of the time
- Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Reston, VA
