Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor - Real Estate Construction

Job Summary
Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle, producing final cost plans and presenting them to stakeholders. Review design services and general contractor submissions to develop accurate cost estimates and reconcile data for updates. Coordinate cost information from suppliers, subs, and quantity surveyors to drive engineering priorities based on cost impact. Manage cost checks, valuations, and post-contract variances while preparing monthly reports and funding data presentations. Lead negotiations on contractor pricing and ensure final accounts are agreed upon timely. Mentor talent and maintain internal business management systems to support client objectives across major corporate real estate programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience working in a cost management role in the construction industry
- Great communication skills
- Comfortable operating in a client-facing role

Desired Qualifications
- RICS accredited or working towards it
- Experience supporting cost management on medium or large sized construction projects, including commercial interiors, high-rise assets, or campus-style developments
- Construction consultancy experience
- Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management, and value engineering
