Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor - Data Center Construction

Job Summary
Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to serve as the key day-to-day client interface on a major data center construction program. Responsibilities include providing full lifecycle cost leadership with estimating, cost planning, developing cost plans, value engineering, coordinating cost data sources, reviewing contractor/subcontractor pricing, leading negotiations for fair prices, managing change orders and post-contract cost variance analysis, producing monthly cost reports, and ensuring robust validation and final accounts. Requires client-facing leadership, excellent communication, and on-site coordination across a multi-building campus program; on-site presence may vary. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant construction field and 5–7 years of experience; RICS accreditation is preferred. On-site/hybrid work in the Detroit metro area with periodic site visits; SOX controls may apply.
