Job Summary
Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to support a large-scale, multi-building campus development project in the Indianapolis area. Responsible for robust cost control, commercial management, and stakeholder alignment across the project lifecycle, including estimating and negotiating change orders, developing and presenting cost plans, reviewing contractor/subcontractor pricing, driving value engineering, managing cost variances, coordinating with design teams and owners, preparing cost updates and funding presentations, and mentoring team members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5–7+ years of relevant experience in a cost management role within the construction industry
- RICS accredited or working toward accreditation (preferred)
- Experience leading cost management on large-scale, complex construction projects (multi-building or campus-style developments)
- Experience with site development, infrastructure, and utilities packages (highly advantageous)
- Construction consultancy experience (strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- On-site presence and requirements may change depending on client needs
