Job Summary
Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor for data center construction. Responsible for disciplined, value-driven cost management across heavy civil/site development scopes, with responsibilities including estimating, cost planning, change orders, reviews of contractor submissions, coordinating cost information from self-perform work, subcontractors and design quantities, and supporting post-contract cost control and value engineering. Must provide leadership in cost management activities, communicate with clients and stakeholders, and contribute to design options with cost and constructability input. Remote in the U.S. with occasional travel to project sites; Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6–7 years of cost management experience in construction required; RICS accreditation preferred; SOX controls may be part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 6–7 years of relevant experience in cost management within the construction industry
- Experience supporting complex, fast-paced construction programs with significant site development components
- Ability to travel to project sites as required
- Candidates must be physically based in the United States and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
