Job Summary
Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor needed for data center construction projects. This role focuses on disciplined, value-driven cost management for heavy civil/site development scopes, with primary day-to-day client interface on large-scale projects. Responsibilities include estimating and negotiating change orders, detailed cost planning, reviewing design/construction estimates, reconciling data, coordinating cost information from self-perform work/subcontractors/suppliers, advising design decisions based on cost/constructability, leading post-contract cost control, value engineering, and preparing monthly cost reports. Requires strong communication skills, independence, client-facing experience, and the ability to work remotely within the United States with occasional travel to project sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 6–7 years of relevant experience in cost management within the construction industry
- Experience supporting complex, fast-paced construction programs with significant site development components
- RICS accreditation is preferred
- Candidates must be physically based in the United States and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to travel to project sites as required
