Job Summary

Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle, producing final cost plans and presenting updates to clients. Review design services and general contractor submissions to reconcile changes, while coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams for accurate cost analysis. Lead negotiations on contractor and subcontractor pricing to drive fair outcomes, and prepare monthly cost reports and executive summaries for client presentation. Manage cost checks, valuations, and contingency tracking logs across multiple project phases, ensuring robust post-contract variance and change control processes. Mentor team members and implement business management systems to track margin and resource planning.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in cost management or quantity surveying within the construction industry
  • Experience delivering cost management services on medium to large-scale, complex construction or program-based projects
  • Strong understanding of estimating, cost planning, procurement, and change management processes
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • On-site presence
  • SOX control responsibilities

Desired Qualifications

  • Construction consultancy experience
  • RICS accreditation or working toward certification
