Job Summary
Conduct tender analysis and documentation from initial stages through reporting to ensure client value for money. Manage the change management process by identifying, analyzing, approving, and implementing cost-affecting changes. Create estimates, cost plans, and valuations for key client developments while overseeing project spend. Prepare final accounts, handle claims, and support the settlement of construction disputes with transparency. Communicate variations clearly to your team and foster employee growth through mentorship and leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Have experience as a Senior Cost Manager
- Have experience in pre-contract cost management
- Have experience in budget control
- Have experience in cost planning
- Have experience in preparing and initiating change forms for discussion with other project stakeholders
- Be knowledgeable on alternative construction materials
- Be chartered or be on the path to complete it
- Have a degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline
- Be an excellent communicator verbally and in writing
- Be able to manage your own priorities and deadlines
- Be able to build strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun
- Be available for interviews conducted either in person or virtually with video required
