Job Summary
Conduct tender analysis and bid documentation from initial stages through reporting. Manage change processes by identifying, approving, and implementing cost-impacting changes. Create estimates, cost plans, and valuations for key client developments while overseeing project spend. Prepare final accounts, handle claims, and support settlement of construction disputes to ensure client value. Communicate cost variations clearly and foster team performance through mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Senior Cost Manager
- Experience in pre-contract cost management
- Experience in budget control
- Experience in cost planning
- Experience in preparing and initiating change forms for discussion with other project stakeholders
- Knowledge on alternative construction materials
- Chartered status or being on the path to complete it
- Degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to manage own priorities and deadlines
- Ability to build strong relationships with team and clients
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
