Job Summary
Conduct tender analysis and bid documentation, manage change processes to control project costs, and create estimates for client developments. Oversee project spend through valuations and reports, support final account agreements and construction dispute settlements, and foster team performance via mentorship. Communicate variations clearly and drive transparent decision-making across stakeholders. Based in Groningen, this role requires a chartered cost manager with consultancy experience, offering a flat structure and career growth opportunities within a global consultancy focused on sustainable built environments.
Required Qualifications
- Have experience as a senior cost manager
- Have experience in pre-contract cost management
- Have experience in budget control
- Have experience in cost planning
- Have experience in preparing change forms
- Have experience in initiating change forms for discussion with other project stakeholders
- Be knowledgeable on alternative construction materials
- Be chartered or be on the path to complete it
- Have a degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline
- Be an excellent communicator verbally and in writing
- Have the legal right to work in the Netherlands
- Be based in or willing relocate to Groningen
