Job Summary
Senior Cost Estimator to support DOE Hanford Field Office; prepares Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) that meet DOE guidance, ensuring accuracy, completeness and well-documented basis of estimate; processes REAs and Baseline Change Proposals (BCPs); provides cost engineering/estimating support using PROPRICER; integrates with other project controls functions including scheduling and risk management; requires 15+ years of senior-level experience on complex capital projects and a BS/BA (or equivalent) with preferred advanced degrees; knowledge of DOE Hanford processes and procedures, and experience with Bechtel National/H2C contracting context; location at Richland, WA with in-person work; strong communication skills; eligible for DOE-related programs and a focus on cost-estimating excellence.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA (or AA, MS, MBA, PhD, etc.) degree
- 15+ years of directly applicable successful experience consulting or contributing on complex capital projects
- Experience with researching and navigating complex federal regulations
