Job Summary
Senior Cost Analyst to manage inventory accounting, COGS analysis, and month-end close, ensuring GAAP compliance. Responsible for inventory reconciliation, reserves, variance analysis, and collaboration across departments to optimize inventory and revenue. Performs journal entries and intercompany/consolidation entries during month-end close, supports ad-hoc projects, and leverages Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and Oracle familiarity. Hybrid work arrangement with 2 remote days and 3 in-office days in Long Beach, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 4+ years of experience in G/L accounting with solid exposure to cost accounting and GAAP
- Excellent analytical skills and cross functional collaboration abilities
- Solid Excel skills, such as pivot tables and V-lookups
- Prior experience with Oracle is preferred, but no required
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written), organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
