Senior Cost Analyst

Job Summary
Senior Cost Analyst responsible for monitoring monthly project spending against budgets, partnering with project leaders on financial performance and forecasts, preparing quarterly forecasts and the AOP, ensuring internal controls and transfer pricing compliance, calculating project cost rates and standard costing, performing variance analysis, and leading Asia-wide costing alignment and SOX compliance initiatives. Works with Operations, Finance, and IT to align costing and reporting, supports RFQ activities for the Singapore site, leads cycle counts, and drives continuous improvement in costing processes using SAP; requires manufacturing experience and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in cost accounting or FP&A
- Strong expertise in product costing and cost analysis
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is required
- Experience in costing process harmonisation or transformation is an advantage
- Strong business acumen with ability to influence stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Hands-on experience with SAP is mandatory
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven team player
