Job Summary
The Senior Cost Accountant will manage and analyze the cost structure of manufacturing operations, involving cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting for efficiency and profitability. This role requires collaboration with production, inventory, and finance teams to provide actionable insights. Candidates must have experience in cost accounting, knowledge of GAAP, and prove ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree in accounting or finance or; or 3 years experience and a Master’s degree; or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience
- Excellent computer skills, Microsoft applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PPT, Access/SQL etc.)
- Strong written communication and verbal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Certified public accountant (CPA) license
- NetSuite experience
- Strong hands-on experience in complex financial modeling, problem solving, analysis and planning
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
