Senior Cost Accountant

Job Summary
Lead cost accounting in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for standard costing systems (material, labor, overhead), variance analysis, inventory reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting. Collaborate with operations and supply chain to improve cost accuracy and margins, support capital projects and fixed assets, and assist with audits while ensuring GAAP adherence and internal controls. Requires Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in manufacturing cost accounting, SAP ERP experience, and advanced Excel; strong analytical and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory, and variance analysis
- SAP ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
