Job Summary
Maintain monthly and quarterly updates that drive pricing to contract manufacturing customers, analyze variances between standard and actual costs to determine root causes, and provide regular profitability analysis by product type. Conduct analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling to support decision-making, manage inventory-related activities including cycle counts and month-end close reconciliations, and assist external auditors as needed. Work cross-functionally with departments on new project costing, develop budgeting tools, and communicate results clearly to leadership. This role offers a $85,000 base salary with 5% bonus potential at a B Corp food manufacturer with a complex dual-site environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of cost accounting and manufacturing analysis experience
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail while maintaining an ability to adapt to a faced-paced business environment
- Ability to act as problem solver and offer informed solutions to improve process or reporting
- Experience in a food manufacturing facility preferred
- ERP experience preferred
