Senior Corrosion Engineer - EPC Phase

Job Summary
Senior Corrosion Engineer responsible for providing technical authority on materials selection, corrosion control, and integrity assurance during EPC project phases. Develop corrosion-control documentation, perform corrosion risk assessments, define piping corrosion loops and design life criteria, and review/approve documentation (PIDs, PFDs, UFDs, coating and CP specifications). Provide input to RBI studies and inspection strategies, support welding issues and coating failures, and assist pre-commissioning/commissioning teams with chemical injection, flushing, passivation, and preservation. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline; 5+ years EPC+operational experience for engineers (10+ for senior) and RBI/API 580-related expertise; familiarity with RBI software and international codes; NACE/AMPP and API certifications are desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
- Master’s degree in Corrosion Engineering is an advantage
- Minimum 5 years combined experience (EPC + Operational) for Corrosion Engineers; minimum 10 years combined experience for Senior Corrosion Engineers
- Proven experience in RBI/IDMS software (e.g. Antea, One APM-Meridium, DNV Synergi, Credo, Aware)
- API 580 qualified or minimum 5 years proven experience in executing RBI Assessments
- Nice to have: NACE/AMPP Corrosion or CP Specialist
- Strong knowledge in damage mechanisms for energy assets; materials behavior and metallurgy for various alloys
- Conversant with international codes and standards related to corrosion and materials
