Job Summary
Senior Paralegal supporting corporate governance and SEC compliance in-house for Seaport Entertainment Group; duties include Board materials via Diligent, managing legal entity records and organizational charts, coordinating franchise tax payments, assisting with SEC and other regulatory filings, drafting and reviewing basic contracts (NDAs, LOIs, sponsorship agreements, event/venue buy-out agreements, purchase orders), supporting insurance claims management (preferred, not required), and partnering with cross-functional teams across SEG on legal and business initiatives to ensure accuracy and timeliness of legal processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred
- 8+ years of experience in a legal department (in-house or law firm)
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, legal entity management, and SEC compliance
- Excellent communication, drafting, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Diligent board management software
