Job Summary
Provide expert legal advice to Interra Brands on transactional matters, enterprise agreements, and regulatory compliance. Assess company decisions to balance strategy with risk, anticipating issues and presenting proactive solutions. Contribute to internal governance policies while partnering with external counsel and regulatory advisors on complex legal matters. Track key regulatory changes to inform Executive Leadership and align product strategy with legislative updates. Operate in a fast-paced, remote-first SaaS environment with periodic travel for team meetings and industry events.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate degree
- Law license in good standing in at least one state
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience practicing law
- Experience in healthcare
- Experience in data privacy
- Experience in transactional law
- Experience in pharmacy / PBM practices
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in pharmacy / PBM practices as a huge plus
- Deep understanding of how legal issues affect entities in Interra Health's industry
- Ability to develop legal policies that aligns with the business goals
- Ability to operate in a problem solving and consultative approach to support internal clients and advise Executive Leadership on various matters
- Detail oriented in reviewing complex and/or lengthy contracts
- Ability to distill concepts to plain English
- Deep experience with progressive redlines
- Versatility and willingness to take on a wide range of contracts, from complex SaaS agreements to small vendor relationships
- Familiarity with technology license reviews
- Applications of AI regulations
