Job Summary
Process domestic and global payroll cycles, including US multi-state and international payroll coordination across the US, Mexico, the UK, Poland, and India. Ensure tax compliance and financial reporting integrity by managing general ledger activities, accounts payable, fixed assets, and accruals. Liaise with external auditors, payroll vendors, and support internal controls while providing guidance to team members. Prepare financial reports in accordance with US GAAP and international accounting principles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience
- Comfortable working on a fast-paced team with changing priorities within a high-growth company
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to interact with various levels of management and build influential relationships with partners in the business
- Positive attitude with a high level of eagerness and aptitude to learn new technology and practices
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and balance numerous priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Hands-on experience processing US multi-state payroll, including federal, state, and local tax filings (Forms 941, W-2, state equivalents)
- Experience coordinating or processing international payroll across multiple countries (e.g., UK, Mexico, Poland, India), including working with in-country payroll vendors or PEO providers
- Knowledge with US GAAP and international accounting principles
Desired Qualifications
- experience in NetSuite a plus
- Familiarity with payroll compliance requirements, including garnishments, equity compensation taxation, and expatriate/shadow payroll concepts is a plus
