Senior Corporate Accountant

Job Summary
Execute complex general ledger entries, manage month-end close activities, and reconcile balance sheet and intercompany accounts to ensure data integrity. Architect external client onboarding frameworks, track project costs using QuickBooks, BQE Core, and Salesforce, and prepare client estimates. Mentor junior team members on advanced software and client workflows while driving continuous process improvements across accounting systems and CRMs. Coordinate directly with the CFO and VP of Accounting on personnel, division constraints, and strategic growth for the new QuickBooks-centered business line. This hybrid role blends technical accounting with business development to scale a new division within a 100% employee-owned organization.
Required Qualifications
- 5 – 7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Ideally blending corporate accounting with client-facing advisory services
- Advanced, direct expertise with QuickBooks Online Advanced
- Certifications preferred
- Direct experience utilizing BQE Core
- Direct experience utilizing similar project management billing/time-tracking software
- Direct experience utilizing Salesforce
- Direct experience utilizing Paylocity
- Direct experience utilizing comparable payroll systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Complex formulas
