Job Summary
The Senior Corporate Accountant is responsible for preparing monthly financial statements, managing general accounting functions, creating and managing accounts payable and receivable, recording cash activity, and maintaining the general ledger. This role requires familiarity with healthcare finance, particularly in Behavioral Health and Eating Disorder treatment. Candidates must have a Bachelor's in Accounting, at least 5 years of accounting experience, advanced skills in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, and strong communication skills. Responsibilities also include managing vendor relationships, preparing budgets and forecasts, and complying with tax obligations.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with working in healthcare, particularly Behavioral Health and Eating Disorder treatment
- Bachelors in Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of accounting, GL, and bookkeeping experience
- Ability to effectively work within an Electronic Medical Record and Payroll Service Vendor
- Familiarity with SaleForce or similar
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

- Advanced skills in Sage Intact
- Advanced skills in Quickbooks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel with pivot tables, filters, and vlookup
