Senior Corporate Accountant - Assets & Inventory Operations

Job Summary
Perform and drive month-end close tasks for Assets, Inventory, and Supply Chain areas, including Ledger Close, Balance Sheet and P&L reporting, flux analysis, and journal entry reconciliations. Partner with business stakeholders to design operational processes, resolve gaps, and act as subject matter expert for system implementations and enhancements. Proactively identify risks, generate mitigation plans, and prepare complex financial information for auditors and leadership. This hybrid role reports to the Accounting Manager - Supply Chain, Treasury, and Fixed Assets. 10% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- 4+ year's experience with a Big 4 accounting firm
- 3+ year's experience in industry
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, particularly in the areas of inventory (ASC 330) and fixed assets (ASC 360)
- Proven track record as a problem solver with experience running large, cross-functional projects that span offices, teams, geographies, etc.
- Excellent leadership, project management, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Superior analytical skills, attention to detail, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate effectively with senior management
- Direct experience managing accounting for global supply chains, including cross-border freight/logistics, customs/duties, multi-currency inventory valuation, and intercompany transfer pricing
