Job Summary
Senior Corporate Accountant will execute day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for AJCP across multiple entities, including general ledger accounting, monthly/quarterly/annual closes, consolidated financial statements, and lender reporting. The role supports GAAP compliance (ASC 606 revenue guidance), strengthens internal controls, and collaborates cross-functionally to ensure timely, accurate financial information. Responsibilities include journalEntry preparation, reconciliations, preparing schedules, assisting with audits, and identifying process improvements to scale accounting operations in a growing real estate-focused organization. Preferred qualifications include Big 4 experience and CPA licensure progress; prior real estate/private equity multi-entity exposure is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and financial reporting
- Experience executing month-end close and account reconciliation processes
