Job Summary
Senior CoreValve Therapy Development Specialist provides technical, clinical, educational and sales support to ensure safe adoption and growth of the CoreValve System and future catheter-based therapy technologies. Responsible for clinical and procedural support for TAVR implant procedures, education and training activities for physicians and hospital staff, and collaboration with CBT/CVG field organizations to drive procedural success and sales targets. Requires strong knowledge of imaging modalities (echo/angiography/CT), CT reconstruction, EKGs and hemodynamics, experience in interventional cardiology or vascular/surgical product sales, and ability to travel within the defined territory to accounts. Travel is extensive (up to 50-75%), with valid driver’s license and ability to operate in cath labs or ORs with radiation exposure. U.S. work authorization sponsorship is available only at Principal level and above; this role requires unrestricted U.S. work authorization. The position emphasizes technical leadership, education, and customer relationship-building to support safe and effective use of Medtronic products and to meet business plans within the CBT unit.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree and 8 years’ experience in a clinical or sales healthcare environment; selling or supporting interventional cardiology, vascular or surgical products
- Associate degree and 6 years’ experience in a clinical or sales healthcare environment; selling or supporting interventional cardiology, vascular or surgical products
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years’ experience in a clinical or sales healthcare environment; selling or supporting interventional cardiology, vascular or surgical products
