Job Summary
Write, research, and conceptualize creative, innovative content for digital and web platforms, including short and long-form articles and repurposing existing material. Master diverse brand voices while maintaining SEO awareness and ensuring consistency across all written output. Collaborate closely with clients from initial briefing through execution, present concepts, and work with internal teams to validate content. Occasionally team up with creatives to conceptualize larger projects like videos and social media campaigns. Maintain high awareness of trending topics to identify content opportunities and use data and insight to inform creative decisions.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years strong experience writing for digital
- Must be comfortable creating content with SEO in mind
- A background in a corporate or journalism environment
- A thorough understanding of the language and needs inherent to writing for beauty brands
- Experience of publishing through social media channels and content management systems
- A powerful grasp of how content can play out across multiple mediums
- Able to use data and insight to inform creative
- A flair for words
- The ability to think conceptually when needed
- Demonstrated ability to combine and translate complex material from different sources and contexts into stories and content that engage and resonate with target audiences
- Confident presenting and communicating clearly to other team members and clients
- Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies
- Understanding and knowledge of AI tools
- Ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools
Desired Qualifications
- Social Media Savvy – knows how to build online communities, engage with customers with creative copies
- Someone who is passionate about fashion, beauty, lifestyle with a strong aesthetic sense
- Experience working as part of a traditional creative team (designer and copywriter)
