Job Summary
Senior Controller to lead the finance function for a growing distribution company just north of Greenville, SC. Responsibilities include leading month-end close processes and preparing accurate financial reports, overseeing AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and maintaining general ledger integrity, managing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and variance analysis, developing financial models to support pricing and investments, strengthening controls and supporting audit/tax processes, partnering with leadership to provide financial insights for growth, maintaining and improving accounting systems (Sage experience preferred), supporting process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability, and coordinating with external accountants, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience
- Experience in a small-to-mid-sized business environment with a hands-on approach
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and controls
- Ability to independently prepare management accounts and financial analysis
- Experience supporting senior leadership with commercial and strategic decisions
