Senior Control Systems Technician

Job Summary
Lead control system projects by designing complex HMI and IT systems, authoring design documents, and providing instrumentation specifications. Manage and delegate tasks to junior staff while mentoring co-workers during system start-ups and commissioning. Interpret piping and wiring diagrams to provide feedback on field conditions versus drawings, and value engineer specifications for cost-effective solutions. Assume ultimate responsibility for assigned projects, ensuring completion on schedule and under budget while acting as the primary customer contact. Lead detailed design of network infrastructure and complex control system integrations, utilizing expertise in PLC and HMI applications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science; Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or other pertinent curriculum combined with relevant technical experience
- 10+ years total experience
- 3+ years as Control Systems Project Engineer II or equivalent
- Proof of eligibility to work in the country where the position is located
- Maintain a valid drivers license
- Fit for Duty at all times
- Overnight travel may be required up to 50%
- On call rotation participation may be required based on location and client needs
