Job Summary
Senior Control & Protection Engineer responsible for leading the overall requirement, design, implementation, and development of the HVDC Control & Protection system; provides technical guidance, mentoring, and develops department talent; drives engineering design reviews, delivers simulations and studies (PSCAD, MATLAB-SIMULINK, DPS); interfaces with customers, supports tendering and project delivery, and defines strategies for development of engineers in the department.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Electronics/Electrical engineering or proven equivalent knowledge and experience in HVDC business
- Minimum of 12 years’ experience in control and protection system design
- Expertise in HVDC Control, Protection and Sequencing strategy
- Expertise in PSCAD and MATLAB-SIMULINK simulation tools
- Expertise in HVDC Dynamic Performance Studies
- Experience in technical leadership
- Willingness to travel globally
