Job Summary
Draft and negotiate contracts, acting as the focal point for all contractual communications while ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. Monitor contract and program performance for scope changes, manage the change process, and advise the business team on contract developments. Collaborate with program managers and legal teams to mitigate performance risks and address moderately complex contract issues. Provide domain expertise in contract management, including reviewing documents for accuracy and applying federal regulations like FAR/DFARS. Execute engagements with customers consistent with policies and build relationships to identify their needs. This role supports GDMS Mission Systems in managing contractual agreements for defense and scientific missions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance
- Eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Very strong knowledge of applicable federal regulations (FAR/DFARS)
- Experience with prime contractors across various contract types
- Very strong experience reviewing and analyzing contract documents for accuracy, performance risk, and conformance with contract terms, conditions, and other provisions
- Very strong understanding of contract management principles
- Very strong analytical/critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail

- Very strong negotiation skills for contracts of moderate to high risk/complexity
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
