Senior Contracts Manager

Job Summary
Analyze, interpret, and negotiate sophisticated provisions across NDAs, MSAs, order forms, DPAs, and customer-paper agreements, assessing risk and protecting Pluralsight's commercial interests. Engage directly with customer legal counsel and procurement teams on written redlines and live calls, confidently holding positions without escalation. Manage contract workflow from initial request through execution, ensuring deals progress efficiently while working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and internal collaborators. Assist with legal review for RFPs and RFIs, and ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection legislation by negotiating data processing agreements. Lead multiple live negotiations simultaneously, prioritizing effectively under pressure to drive negotiations to closure in line with agreed legal and business parameters.
Required Qualifications
- Prior in-house experience at a SaaS or recurring-revenue technology business
- Demonstrable knowledge of GDPR, data privacy rules, and commercial data processing agreements
- Proven experience negotiating AI-related contract provisions, including AI amendments, data training restrictions, output ownership, and acceptable use limitations
- Confidence working within a contracts technology environment, including CLM and electronic signature platforms
- A minimum of 8 years of contracts experience in a comparable environment
- A minimum of 6 years of contracts experience in a comparable environment for candidates with a relevant postgraduate qualification
- This is a remote role
- Applicants located within 50 km of the Dublin office should expect to work on-site Wednesday and Thursday
- Remote flexibility on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience handling contracts (including drafting and negotiation) in a corporate environment, preferably supporting a SaaS or technology services business
- A degree in law, business, or a related discipline
- Candidates without a formal qualification will be considered on the strength of their experience
- Prior in-house experience at a SaaS or recurring-revenue technology business is a significant advantage
- Candidates with this background will have a strong understanding of the commercial model and customer expectations this role operates within
- Demonstrable knowledge of GDPR, data privacy rules, and commercial data processing agreements is strongly preferred
- Proven experience negotiating AI-related contract provisions, including AI amendments, data training restrictions, output ownership, and acceptable use limitations, is a strong advantage
