Job Summary
Senior Contracts Manager located in Dublin with leadership responsibility across major infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with contract management standards (NEC-focused) and compliant contract administration. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing contracts, negotiating with contractors and consultants, certifying payments under NEC options, auditing accounts, reviewing cost forecasts and pain/gain share mechanisms, managing delay damages assessments, developing contract-management strategies, targeting KPI performance, and building/leading a team of contract administrators. The role supports hybrid working arrangements (office/remote) and requires postgraduate qualification and extensive NEC contract experience. The role emphasizes collaboration with legal, technical, and financial advisors, and oversight of tendering and evaluation processes through to appointment of contractors and consultants.
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying
- Extensive experience in contract management, including a minimum of three years’ experience working with NEC contracts
- Strong track record in delivering infrastructure and/or aviation projects
- Proven capability in performance monitoring, claims management, and commercial reporting
- Ability to lead contractual negotiations and provide commercial and contractual guidance to project teams
