Job Summary
Draft, negotiate, execute, and maintain research contracts including subcontracts, material transfer, data transfer, and confidentiality agreements. Serve as the point of contact during agreement review and oversee the process through final signature. Develop standard templates, update operating procedures, and enter agreements into repository and database systems. Determine intellectual property provisions and ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional requirements. Finalize agreements by securing approvals, signatures, and overseeing handoffs to administration. Conduct risk assessments for subrecipients, manage FFATA reporting, and perform systems audits. Educate personnel on the contracts process and participate in ad-hoc committees to optimize workflows. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years related work experience
- experience in contract negotiation
- experience in federal grants
- Strong organization and time management skills
- ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously in a time sensitive environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced skills with Microsoft applications
- Outstanding verbal and written skills
- ability to work with a varied caseload with minimal supervision
