Job Summary
Senior-level Contract Specialist supporting cradle-to-grave procurement for large-scale design, construction, and transportation projects. Responsibilities include acquisition planning, market research, preparation and issuance of solicitations (RFPs/RQBs), supporting source selection and negotiations, drafting award packages, maintaining electronic contract files, processing modifications and closeout documentation, and ensuring compliance with FAR, DIAR, and agency policies. Must have federal contracting experience, FAC-C/DAWIA or equivalent certification, ability to obtain HSPD-12 PIV, and readiness to work in a remote CONUS environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field or 20 years of contracting experience or 24 semester hours in business-related disciplines with FAC-C Professional or equivalent; FAC-C and/or DAWIA Level II/III; minimum 5 years of federal contracting experience; ability to obtain HSPD-12 PIV and pass background/security clearance; proficiency with FPDS, PRISM, FBMS, SAM.gov, IPP; Microsoft 365 andSharePoint experience; IT Security Awareness training; confidentiality and Rules of Behavior agreements
