Job Summary
Senior Contract Manager responsible for direct contract management of high-profile government/public-sector service providers, with remote work and regional travel in the Ottawa region. Lead strategic discussions, capacity-building for contract managers, and dispute resolution; develop contracts, conduct negotiations and audits to ensure compliance; provide reports, insights, and training to the network; drive performance improvement and risk mitigation; support continuous improvement and organizational systems to maximize program efficiency; mentor staff and maintain a positive, professional team environment. Requires bilingual English/French communication, strong contract-management experience, and the ability to travel across multiple locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in business or related discipline (or comprehensive and equivalent experience)
- Comprehensive Contract Management experience
- Bilingualism (English and French)
- Advanced understanding of government funded or public sector contracts
- Excellent organizational, administrative and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proven ability to manage performance including monitoring KPIs and leading improvement processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
- Strong accountability and ethical judgment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Advanced negotiation skills and ability to develop partnerships
- Ability to pass Criminal Record Check
